Going Home

We’re spending the big bucks and are going home for Christmas. We’ll be there for about 3 1/2 weeks which is a good amount of time. It was a bit challenging getting air though. We were wait listed on China Airways that would have gotten us to LA. From there we were looking at finding our own arrangements to Rochester or Buffalo. Fortunately, though, the travel agent called a couple days later and said she could get us on United/Air New Zealand from Brisbane to Rochester. It was a bit more expensive but well worth it for reducing the hassle factor. We also get frequent flyer mileage points from this since we ended up flying United/Air NZ down here twice already. And since we paid by credit card we get the points on that too. Small comforts for spending a bunch of money.
Our job now is to get nicely tanned so we make everyone else jealous. 
Besides that, nothing else is new.
You know you don’t have to rub it in. I hope about after a week that your here we get a
really big snow storm. Well maybe I’ll have a little tan we might be going to Florida or
Las Vegas for my b’day so there. Looking forward to the visit.
