Ugh. I guess it was bound to happen, but I discovered this morning someone spammed my website. Loads of comments about poker, viagra, etc. appeared over night. Curses! I’ve changed the comment settings a bit to require approval of all comments but this is a short-term fix. I’ll have to investigate better options. Fun fun [...]

Today Colette decorated our apartment with the meager supplies of Christmas decorations she brought. Unlike past years, today she was wearing shorts & a tank top (and still sweating) while putting up the one tree we brought. Well, after the depressing election results we now get even more disturbing news. The Incredibles doesn’t arrive in Australia until December 26 and Sky Captain & The World of Tomorrow doesn’t come until NEXT YEAR! That’s not exactly tomorrow, now is it? Ooooo, there are such inconveniences living at the end of the world.

It looks like Bush will win the election. Argh. I think we’ll just stay here until he leaves. But then Cheney will get elected (scary) and we’ll just have to apply for permanent residency.
