Christmas Time

Today Colette decorated our apartment with the meager supplies of Christmas decorations she brought. Unlike past years, today she was wearing shorts & a tank top (and still sweating) while putting up the one tree we brought.
Normally decorating takes several days with lots of lugging of boxes up from the basement and the drinking of many mimosas. This time she was done within a few hours without ANY mimosas! She’s so depressed. And she doesn’t have any money to buy any more decorations. All she could get was a box of ‘fairy lights’ for the tree.
Just think-it will only be one box of “stuff” to undecorate and you can have 2 Mimosas-in shorts – while we are wading through drifts.
