Sydney was fun – just like last time! We walked all around the place and ended up with very tired feet, but had a great time. The weather was a little dodgy – rainy on Saturday but, surprisingly, the day we went to the zoo was nice & sunny! Usually, we pick the rainy days to go to the zoo.
The LOTR exhibit was pretty cool. Each time has something different. The Powerhouse Museum that was running the exhibit was very interesting. Lots of old steam engines, a space exhibit, and cool other stuff. We spent about 6 hours there on Friday if you include the LOTR exhibit.
We saw Robots on the big IMAX screen which was pretty expensive, but what the heck! We were on vacation, er, holiday!
We had some a couple good meals – one fish dinner at Darling Harbour and another at a Korean Barbeque place (where we were definately in the minority!).
We didn’t do the expensive bits – climbing the bridge ($180 per person) or tour the opera house, but we felt we crammed in a lot of stuff and left pretty happy.
