Trip out west

I went out to Apple’s World wide developer conference (WWDC) in San Francisco last week. On the way I stopped in Denver to visit with some friends. Some ‘friends’ arranged to be out of town that weekend! Can you believe it?
It was a great time. Pictures to come – just as soon as I get some time to grab them off the camera.
WWDC was a geek love fest. I stayed in a funky little hotel near City Hall named The Inn At the Opera (and it was too). It was a bit of a walk to the Moscone center, but it was all level terrain which is pretty remarkable out there! The conference itself was heavily geared toward iPhone and, of course, now I Want One! Thursday night they had a big bash in a nearby park and the Barenaked Ladies played. What a surprise! It was a hoot!
And, to top off the tech post, I participated in the Firefox Million Download drive and got this nifty certificate. I’m so darn proud.
